Seasons Greetings Present card using sticky ribbons

Posted by JennyPearce, 22 Sep, 2004

As seen in the Christmas 2004 Magazine in the sticky ribbon feature!

  1. Cut a 10 x 8 cm rectangle out of lilac card and glue in centre of cream card. Then with decorative edged scissors, cut around a piece of purple foam measuring 7.5 x 4 cm and then place on top of lilac card.

  2. Using the cream insert card, cut a 7 x 4 cm rectangle. Stamp the present image using a pigment ink pad. Generously scatter over Heat it up! Embossing powder and tap off the excess. Melt the powder with a Heat it up! Heat tool. Watch the powder melt to a glossy design.

  3. When cooled, glue the stamped and embossed image centrally on lilac/purple background.

  4. Peel up ribbon from backing paper and press either side of card. If you need to trim the ribbon use the X Cut non stick scissors.

  5. Finally, with the use of tweezers, place a Seasons Greetings Peel off stickrer to the bottom of the card.
