Ombré scrapbook layout

Craft this colourful scrapbook layout to celebrate family love. Add a sweet touch to that perfect photo.

1. Die cut each design included in the Xcut Border Dies Set twice with from cardstock. Select five complementary colours from the Papermania Mini Ink Pads pack and blot ink onto a Creativity Essentials A5 Clear Stamp Block, from lightest to darkest, until the whole block is covered. Spray water over the ink to make the colours flow. Press the die cut border onto the coloured block and repeat the process on the other end so that the border is symmetrical. After all die-cut borders are coloured, set aside to dry.

2. Apply a coat of PVA glue to Papermania Adhesive Wooden Letters; this will prevent the wood from soaking up all the ink and give a more vibrant shade. Once the letters are dry, tap the ink pad onto the letters, using the same colours you used previously. For the 'Love', blend three colours, inking the lightest at the bottom and the darkest on top. Finish the wooden letters with a layer of Anita’s 3D Clear Gloss.

3. Mat your photograph onto pink cardstock and then place all your bits onto a light wood-effect paper from the Papermania Capsule Elements Wood Paper Pack. You can snip your borders to fit the page. Once happy, fix with double-sided tape.
