Using the Xcut shape cutter, Boofle collection and the Creativity Club Sketch Of The Month.
Following the sketch as a guide, cut a 19cm square of cream paper. Outline this and a 12x12” sheet of patterned paper with dashed lines to replicate doodle stitching.
Using the sketch as inspiration, I rotated the bow and attached to the left side of the ribbon.
Stick canvas alphabet stickers for the title. Here I used ‘Mummy’s miracle’. Outline each letter in pen.
Attach the cream square layer to the centre of your page. (Optional) Alternatively, if you plan on having hidden journaling, stick around the top, bottom and left side of the cream square only. In the opening side, you can slide in your hidden message or journaling. I created a tabbed panel from patterned paper, layered white card to the centre and used more canvas letters for a hidden message. You could also handwrite journaling on this panel and slide behind the cream square in the open side.
Cut a circle approximately 15cm in diameter from gingham paper and use the Xcut shape cutter and medium circle template to cut around the photo of baby on the inner edge of the template. Use the outer edge on white card to create a background layer.
Stick the gingham circle to the cream square, wrap wide ribbon around the middle of both, inserting one end through a button (with slits) from the Boofle buttons pack, before securing the end of the ribbon on the reverse. Layer up the white circle, then the photo with Stick It! 3D foam dots.
Add Boofle green buttons in groups of three above and below the white circle. Add three cream/ brown buttons to the bottom left of the page.
Add a Boofle cardstock sticker to the top left of the cream square and a die cut Boofle (found in the 6x6” Foldies Card Kit) attached with 3D foam dots. Add the kisses and heart sticker to the bottom left of the cream square. Add the paper message below the circles.
