Lots of Love Butterfly Card

Make this pretty card using the FREE Butterfly Garden printables.

Butterflies, crochet lace, twine and ribbon along with lightly inked and distressed papers give this card a shabby chic feel. 1. Cut a panel of green patterned paper just smaller than your card blank. Distress the edges and ink with brown dye ink, then adhere to the card. Add two more panels of paper in purple and turquoise at an angle as shown, both with inked edges. 2. Punch a scalloped border into green patterned paper and adhere across the card, towards the bottom. Add a layer of white crochet lace underneath and Eau de Nil adhesive crochet border in the middle. 3. Die cut two butterflies in lavender paper using the Xcut butterfly die free with Creativity magazine (Jan 2015). Glue one butterfly flat and add the other on top, gluing the centre and bending the wings forward. Add four gems along the body and a sentiment to the left, edged in brown ink. 4. Cut out three butterflies in different sizes and colours and attach to the top right of the card with foam squares. 5. Add a French lavender ribbon bow, twine bow, resin flower and iridescent gem to the top left.
