Floral Challenge - hosted by me - ends Sunday 25th August

For this card I used another image recycled from a calendar that was a free gift with a magazine. I'm not sure but I think it's one of the 'Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' images, it has that kind of look anyway. The Art Deco frame is a Tattered Lace die. I added a coloured peel off and some coloured gems to fill the rectangles at the top and bottom. I never know what to do with these spaces. I have tried sentiments but they always look so squashed! The gold panel was edged with copper marker and mounted on a 7x7" cream pearl card which I stencilled with several coordinating shades of Distress Oxide ink. Finally I added a bow made from silk ribbon which I sprayed with water and squashed for a crumpled look.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card and many thanks also if you choose to leave a comment. I really appreciate it and love to read them all.
