Easter carrot baskets

Every egg hunter needs a container to keep their prizes... These adorable veggie bags will have your bunnies hopping with joy!

1. Transfer the template provided onto orange cardstock. Fold up the basket, following the crease lines indicated, and sharpen with a paper creaser. Use a screw hole punch to make a small hole in the centre of two opposite sides, about 1cm down from the top.

2. Run glue or double-sided tape along the glue tab and fold up the basket, pressing from the inside to secure the basket into a carrot shape. Use an orange felt tip pen or marker to carefully draw lines all around the four sides, holding the pen loosely as you go to create uneven markings. Ink the edges with orange ink and a sponge, dabbing it on all four corners.

3. Trim four squares of green cardstock to the width of the carrot and make thin snips into the panel, ensuring to leave at least 1cm uncut at the bottom edge. Run a length of double-sided tape to the uncut strip and stick around the carrot, across the inside edges.

4. Curl up the carrot tops, running each thin strip through your finger tips or across a blunt knife. Make some curl more than others by going over them twice. Use a length of jute wire as a hanger; place each end through the holes you punched earlier and bend upwards to secure.
