DIY Santoro T-shirt

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 20 Jan, 2017

Customise any piece of clothing with Santoro fabric paints, and transform them into one-off, colourful garments! Use dies and stamps to create your own stencils, and make it as simple or as bold as you like.

1. Use masking tape to section off stripes on the sleeves of your chosen T-shirt. Paint in between the masking tape using the black Santoro fabric paint. Leave to dry, and add another coat if needed. Once completely dry, peel off the masking tape.

2. Before adding stencils to the front , place a piece of cardboard inside the T-shirt to stop any paint seeping through. Die cut your chosen stencils onto a piece of acetate, and gently apply to the t-shirt using a little paint and a sponge.

3. Allow the T-shirt to dry completely for 2-3 hours. Repeat the pattern on the back of the t-shirt, and wa-lah!
