Celebrate shaker card

You'll all know by now that we love a shaker card! Create a shaker with a difference, backing the negative of some die-cut letters with acetate and sprinkling cardstock behind.

1. Select a white landscape card blank and cut a navy piece of Forever Friends Opulent paper to a little smaller. Ensure that there's a white border at the sides. Pick a sentiment – we used 'Celebrate' – and spell it out a few centimetres down from the top of the blue cardstock, using the Xcut Wedding Alphabet & Number Dies.

2. Use craft tape to secure them to the paper and run through the Xcut Xpress. Remember to keep hold of the die-cuts from the middle of the B, R and A. Back the word with a sheet of acetate, fixing in place around the edges with double-sided tape. Stick the negative B, R and A pieces in place on top.

3. Turn off-cuts of co-ordinating cardstock into your shaker contents. Take a small pair of scissors and snip your scraps into little pieces that will shake around easily.

4. Stick two strips of 3D foam tape around the edge of the patterned paper panel – it's important that you include both layers, as this helps the contents to shake freely. Sprinkle the pieces in the middle of the card front and mount the panel directly on top.
