Butterfly Family Card

The Butterfly download papers are a gorgeous mix of butterflies, flowers and stripes. Perfect to mix with the sentiment downloads. Using card blanks in an unusual way makes the most of these pretty papers. Check out the download section to see our collection of free papers. Steps 1. Take two Anita’s square card blanks, cut the first card front diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Cut the second card front diagonally from the top right to the bottom left corner. 2. Glue the card backs together using Anita’s tacky glue, you should now have a card blank with a crossover front. 3. Cover both card fronts with the butterfly downloads papers, matting and layering to create interest 4. Matt and layer several papers onto the inside back of the card.createing a pocket along the bottom edge using a rectangle of paper to match. 5. Using double sided tape attach ribbon around the card, finishing at the front edges .Make a small bow and attach to the left hand side of the card. 6. Cut out 12 assorted butterflies from the downloads papers, glue 9 along the top edge of the card front as shown. 7. From the downloads papers cut a decorative oval and attach a sentiment from the sentiment downloads, attach this to the top of a strip of striped paper. 8. Decorate with the remaining butterflies, place the sentiment banner into the pocket and close the card fronts.
