Snowy watercolour notelet
If you've got a little time this festive season, why not get in the spirit of Christmas and sit down with the Faber-Castell Goldfaber Watercolour Pencil Set to create a unique Christmas themed note or card. A great way to practice your sketching and watercolour skills!
1. Using an 'icy' blue colour from the Faber-Castell Goldfaber Aqua Watercolour Pencil Tin, scrape some of the pigment off into a Papermania Petal Mixing Palette and mix with a little water. Using the brush from the pencil tin, create a circle on a Papermania 4 x 4'' White Card.
2. Taking a pencil in a darker shade of blue, sketch in snowflake shapes inside the circle. You can leave these as they are or use a brush and some water to gently blend out some of the definition for a softer finish.
3. For the trees, select a low B number pencil from Faber-Castell Graphite Aquarelle Pencil Tin and start by drawing in the trunk and a number of branches off this. Sketch in the foliage – this doesn't have to be too neat and some should flow out of the circle to add depth to your drawing.
