MDF wall art

Create a whole alphabet or select chosen initials for strikingly-detailed letter decorations. Great as a table setting at a wedding or for jazzing up your home décor.

1. Start by laying out your Papermania Bare Basics MDF Letters into rows of about five, this will give you an idea of how your layout will look when they are placed on the wall.

2. Choose your colour scheme from the Artiste Acrylic Paint selection. The colours used in our make are; sage, banana yellow, blush pink and blanc. Select which colours you would like on each letter and paint a couple of layers onto each.

3. Once the letters are dry, from Xcut Xtras Vellum Adhesive Sheets, select the pink sheet to cover over sections of random letters e.g. half of the X. Do the same using gold adhesive foil sheets. To ensure neat edges, cut slits with a craft knife and fold over to the sides of the letter. Finish these letters with the black polka dotted pattern tape from Noteworthy Metallic Mono Decorative Tape Set to add a strip along the edge of the Xtra sheet.

4. For the rest of the letters use the four different patterns from the decorative tape to cover sections or entire letters. Palm punch the gold foil sheets with the Xcut Small Circle Palm Punch and adhere these to various letters.
