Fruity bookmarks

If you've got your hands on a copy of the July issue of Creativity then you will have spotted our fruity bookmarks. Try creating these colourful designs to make your pages super-juicy!

1. To make the orange segment bookmark, take the three largest circles in the Xcut Circle Nesting Dies set and cut the largest one from Craft Planet Orange Acrylic Felt. Trim the medium one from flesh-coloured felt and the smallest again from orange. Snip the two largest into quarters and the smallest into eighths. Pin two of the eighths onto a flesh-coloured quarter and stitch in place. Pin and sew this to a large orange quarter. Finally, pin to a second orange quarter and stitch along the two straight edges so you can slip it onto a book corner.

2. For the watermelon, cut two large quarter circles of dark green felt and a medium quarter circle of red. Stitch some black pips onto the red quarter and sew onto one of the green pieces. Back with another green quarter, stitching along the straight edges.
