Festive delivery lanterns

Whipped up and crafted with just one die, chop into the design to create a wondrous three-dimensional lantern for your home.

1. For the base of the lantern, roll a piece of white textured cardstock measuring 7 x 30cm. Fussy cut shallow waves into the top edge to create slight mounds and secure into place with a strip of double-sided tape.

2. Die cut the Xcut Festive Delivery Large Die into dark grey textured cardstock, trim off the top of the die keeping the houses, trees and church and adhere to the back of the white mounds. Using a pastel coloured cardstock, die cut the scene again, only this time trim the middle section and attach it just under the top section of the die, in line with the mounds. Pop on the bits poked out from this part of the die such as the houses, cars, train and tree, and adhere them onto the lantern with Stick it! 3D Foam Pads. Run the die through the die-cutting machine once more with white cardstock, fussy cut the skating pond and place at the bottom followed by the trees fixed with foam pads.

3. Take a 15 x 30cm piece of Anita’s A4 Plain White Parchment Vellum, punch various snowflakes into the top with the Xcut Snow Crystal Medium Palm Punch, roll and pop inside the lantern base.
