Fa-bear-Castell sketch

Faber-Castell is renowned for their range of expert-quality illustration pens and pencils. Use a selection to bring this contemporary geometric bear artwork to life!

1. Use an 8B pencil from Faber-Castell Graphite Aquarelle Blister Pack to loosely sketch the outline of your bears onto a Faber-Castell A4 Creative Studio Sketch Pad. You can either copy this free-hand or print out the images and trace over them.

2. Shade the right side of the koala face using ice blue from Faber-Castell PITT Artist Brush Pastel Set and use ivory for the polar bear, keeping the geometric sides free of colour.

3. Once dry, take a medium-sized nib from Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen Wallet of 8 and draw in the main lines of the geometric shapes to define the shape of the bears.

4. Utilising a smaller nib, draw in the finer details of the bears' faces, using hatching and small lines to define shading and fur details.
