Bat treat bag

Make sure your kids are all ready to trick or treat in style, with this cute candy carrier.

1. Transfer the templates onto Craft Planet felt sheets. Each bag will need one black sheet and some scraps of purple and white. Cut every part of the template twice. Trim the black wing details approximately 0.5cm smaller than the purple wing. Take one side of the main body of the bag and stitch a smile in the centre with white thread. Alternatively, you could use white fabric paint.

2. Line up and glue both parts of each wing and leave to dry. Place the front of the bag with the right-side facing up, and align the wings on each side, also facing upwards. Layer the back piece on top, matching up the edges perfectly. Pin all the pieces together and stitch around the bottom, either by hand or machine. Turn through the right way. Freehand, cut two fangs from white felt and two ears from purple and black felt. Glue these parts in place with Anita’s Tacky Glue. Attach two self-adhesive wiggle eyes above the smile – you can add extra glue if you wish. To finnish, die cut an orange tag and stamp ‘BOO!’ with black pigment ink. Tie to the handle with a small length of twine.
